Answer: This child developed a secondary staphylococcal infection at the smallpox vaccination site. Note the signs of cellulitis including spreading erythema that envelopes the smallpox vaccination site, swelling, and accompanying areas of cutaneous purulency.
Recently had chickenpox........ since the lesions are at various stages with crusting. Itching might have worsen some lesions...but still getting better ;-)
